Job description

Position: Civil Site Supervisor

Overview: A Civil Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in construction projects, overseeing and coordinating various activities on the construction site to ensure the project is completed safely, efficiently, and within the specified timelines. They work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of construction plans and successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Management: Supervise and manage all on-site activities to ensure compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications. Monitor and maintain safety standards, security protocols, and site cleanliness.

Workforce Coordination: Manage and direct the construction crew, subcontractors, and laborers. Assign tasks, schedule work, and ensure adequate resources are available to meet project deadlines.

Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work adheres to industry standards, building codes, and project specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify defects or deviations and take corrective measures as necessary.

Progress Monitoring: Keep track of daily progress and construction milestones. Report progress to project managers and address any potential delays or challenges that may arise during the construction process.

Material and Equipment Management: Coordinate the delivery of construction materials and equipment to the site. Verify the quality and quantity of materials received and ensure their proper storage and usage.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities, including daily reports, attendance records, material usage, and work schedules. Prepare reports for project managers and stakeholders as required.

**Requirements**:
Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. A degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field is an advantage but not always mandatory.

Experience: Previous experience in construction and site supervision is highly desirable.
