Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the construction site store.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of material inward and outward.
  • Prepare GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) and issue slips for material movement.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare daily/weekly inventory reports.
  • Ensure proper storage, stacking, and identification of materials to avoid damage or loss.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and vendors for timely supply of materials.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) system for material issuance.
  • Handle return of excess or unused materials from site.

Key Skills:

  • Material handling and store management
  • Inventory control and reporting
  • Knowledge of GRN, ERP/SAP or Excel
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Familiar with construction materials (cement, steel, plumbing, electrical, finishing, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Diploma preferred
  • Minimum 37 years of experience in store management at construction sites
  • Real estate or infrastructure project experience preferred
