Role & responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor dairy processing equipment such as pasteurizers, separators, homogenizers, evaporators, and spray dryers.
  • Ensure smooth plant operations as per daily production schedules and maintain optimal efficiency.
  • Monitor key process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rate, fat/SNF standards).
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Quality team for sampling, testing, and corrective action.
  • Maintain production logbooks, batch records, CIP/cleaning documentation, and daily reports.
  • Track milk utilization, wastage, rework, and yield data.
  • Supervise operators and helpers, ensuring workforce discipline and proper shift handover.
  • Provide on-job training on SOPs, safety, hygiene, and equipment handling.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance team for breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and instrument calibration.
  • Monitor inventory of raw milk, packaging materials, chemicals, and ensure cold chain management.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Dairy Technology / Food Technology or related field.
  • 15 years of experience in dairy production or milk processing operations.
  • Strong understanding of dairy machinery and processing techniques.
  • Knowledge of FSSAI, ISO 22000, GMP, HACCP standards.
  • Good communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and work in shift operations.
