Overview: The Workday Consultant plays a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the Workday human capital management system within the organization. They are responsible for configuring and customizing the system to meet the company's specific needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient business processes within Workday.
  • Configure Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Absence, and Talent Management.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Workday functionality and integrations.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and support during Workday implementation and upgrades.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases and new features to recommend and implement best practices within the organization.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new Workday modules and functionalities to enhance the system's capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Workday certification in HCM and Integration or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring and implementing Workday HCM, including Core HR, Benefits, and Payroll.
  • Proficiency in Workday report writing, calculated fields, and advanced custom reporting.
  • Experience with Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and end-users effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of HR processes and best practices is a plus.
