Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The role primarily involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and supporting compliance with statutory requirements. Prior experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, invoicing, receipts, and payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of sales invoices, credit notes, and vendor bills.
  • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain proper accounting records in
    Tally
    and Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support GST, TDS, and TCS-related compliance, including data preparation and filing assistance.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely closure of open items.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain and update accounting files, documentation, and reports as per company policies.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (auditors, vendors, partners) for smooth financial operations.
  • Provide support to the Finance Manager in ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience
    ; prior exposure to the
    travel industry
    preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of
    Tally
    and
    MS Excel
    .
  • Basic understanding of
    GST, TDS, and TCS
    compliance.
  • Solid accounting knowledge and conceptual clarity of financial principles.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
