We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Quality Check / PDI / Technical to lead and oversee product quality inspection, pre-delivery checks, and technical validations. The role requires strong expertise in quality assurance, process improvements, and compliance to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Control & PDI team, ensuring inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  • Define and implement quality standards, testing protocols, and inspection processes.
  • Supervise Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of appliances and electronics for performance, safety, and compliance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and coordinate corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) with production, procurement, and R&D teams.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, BIS, and industry-specific quality standards.
  • Develop SOPs and training modules for quality and technical staff.
  • Review and analyze quality reports, inspection records, and audit findings.
  • Work closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement in quality systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to resolve quality issues and ensure material reliability.
  • Prepare regular MIS and dashboards for management on quality performance and improvement areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4 – 7years of experience in Quality Assurance / QC / PDI, preferably in electronics, appliances, or consumer durables industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle escalations, resolve technical issues, and drive process excellence.
