ABOUT THE ROLE – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (INDIA)

The Chief Financial Officer – India will be the principal financial and compliance leader for Atomic North, responsible for driving all Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Treasury, Compliance, and Shared-Services functions.

Reporting jointly to the CEO and CFO of Supra ITS (Canada), this role will ensure financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all Indian entities.

The CFO will also oversee Human Resources, Facilities, and Corporate IT, building a unified business operations backbone that supports three business lines: Managed IT Services, Application Services, and BPO.

This role demands a seasoned finance professional who combines technical accounting mastery, commercial acumen, and leadership presence. It is ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where governance meets growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL STRATEGY & GOVERNANCE

  • Lead all aspects of Accounting, Financial Reporting, Audit, and Treasury for Atomic North.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and Group Accounting Policies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across all India business units.
  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits; ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and FEMA.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and risk-management frameworks.
  • Oversee all banking, treasury, and intercompany transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance and transfer-pricing integrity.

TAXATION, LEGAL & COMPLIANCE

  • Lead direct and indirect tax planning, filings, and audits.
  • Liaise with auditors, legal counsel, and external advisors on corporate, labor, and compliance matters.
  • Ensure full compliance with ROC filings, PF/ESI, Shops & Establishment, and other labor laws.
  • Support international transactions, transfer-pricing documentation, and statutory certifications for global consolidation.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP & STRATEGIC PLANNING

  • Partner with business heads of Managed IT, Application Services, and BPO to provide financial insights, cost control, and investment analysis.
  • Translate financial data into actionable performance metrics.
  • Provide input on pricing models, margin optimization, and capital allocation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, scenario modeling, and long-term growth projections.

HUMAN RESOURCES, FACILITIES & CORPORATE IT

  • Oversee HR, Facilities, and internal IT as shared-services functions.
  • Ensure alignment of HR policies with Indian labor laws and global culture.
  • Manage facilities, vendor contracts, and workplace efficiency.
  • Oversee corporate IT infrastructure supporting internal operations, systems, and security compliance.

TEAM & LEADERSHIP

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance and operations team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Act as the executive liaison between India operations and Supra's global leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 15–25 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, and Business Operations.
  • At least 10 years in a senior leadership capacity (CFO / VP Finance).
  • Proven success in IT, Technology, or BPO sectors with multinational exposure.
  • Deep expertise in Indian GAAP, IFRS, and cross-border consolidation.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, FEMA, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulators.
  • Professional qualification: CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) required.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
