We are currently seeking a Field Tech Senior Analyst-ITIL to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Roles & Responsibilities:

•    Sound knowledge of general health & safety of devices in Data Centre.

•    Must have strong knowledge of HP ProLiantBlade, Oracle and Dell PowerEdge servers

•    Rack & stack, power & Cable connectivity for Server / network equipment.

•    Complete device inventory management in data centre.

•    Understanding of Data Centre environment (Power, Cooling, Security, Processes etc.)

•    Understanding of LTO media, tape library, media backup and restore.

•    Basic support - visual checks on the devices, basic troubleshooting like changing cables, SFP replacement, etc. 

•    Rack/stack a new/replacement device or change hot-swappable components.

•    Hands-on experience on various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).

•    Understanding of the OSI layer or TCP/IP model and routing protocols. 

•    Vendor / OEM coordination for Network / Server equipment.

•    Power Load & Consumption Details 

•    Knowledge of CISCO and Avaya platform.

•    Understanding of PRI and basic enterprise voice setup

•    Vendor/ISP coordination for PRI related issues.

Requirements:

•    Bachelor's degree from an authorized university.  

•    Relevant server certification will be an added advantage.

•    Good communication skills, both written and verbal

•    Basic understanding of ITIL Framework is a must (SLA, CHG, Problem, and incident mgmt.)

•    Knowledge on ticketing tool preferrable ServiceNow.

•    Willingness to work in rotational shifts 24*7 environment.

•    Travel including overnight domestic may be required.
