Business Development Associate

Job Summary:
The Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and supporting the sales team to achieve revenue targets. The BDA plays a crucial role in expanding the company's customer base and promoting its products/services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients, industries, and markets.
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, social media, networking, and other channels.
- Qualify leads and set up meetings or demos for the sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
- Understand and effectively communicate the company's products/services to clients.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Track and report on sales activities, leads, and pipeline progress.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (like Zoho, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and sales processes is advantageous.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client management (fresher-friendly roles may be available).
