Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as an Investment Counselor. In this role, you will be responsible for training and enabling branch teams to effectively sell investment products such as Mutual Funds (MF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Private Equity (PE), and Structured Products (SP). You will also work closely with HNI clients, driving cross-selling opportunities and ensuring client portfolios align with their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training & Development: Train and guide assigned branch teams on the features, benefits, and selling points of investment products, including MF, PMS, AIF, PE, and SP.
  • Cross-Selling Enablement: Influence and enable branch teams to cross-sell investment products effectively to existing and new clients.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct joint meetings with HNI customers in collaboration with branch teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive investment solutions.
  • Performance Management: Help branch teams meet their cross-selling targets and regularly track progress to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Portfolio Review: Perform periodic reviews of clients portfolios to ensure they are aligned with their investment objectives and offer recommendations for adjustments when necessary.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualifications: Post-Graduation in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in investment products as a Product Manager, Investment Counselor, Wealth Manager, or Relationship Manager.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Wealth Management, Banking, or Investment Counseling preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Proven track record in training teams and driving sales.
  • Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and Investment Products.
