Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries from clients
  • Prepare and deliver technical quotations, proposals, and tender documents
  • Support field sales engineers with pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • Coordinate with engineering and service teams to ensure timely execution of orders
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with leads, opportunities, and client interactions
  • Conduct market research and identify potential customers in the Eastern region
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients over phone, email, and online meetings
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective inside sales strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (preferred)
  • 26 years of experience in inside sales or technical sales (industrial equipment/automation sector preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of valves, actuators, automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS), and calibration instruments
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Strong problem-solving and consultative approach
  • Team collaboration with sales,engineering, service, and project execution teams

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (preferred)
  • 25 years of experience in inside sales or technical sales (industrial equipment/automation sector preferred)
