Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Civil Engineering Intern
to join our team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working closely with our engineering team on real-world infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, design, and analysis of civil engineering projects (e.g., roads, bridges, drainage systems, buildings).
  • Support in preparing engineering drawings, plans, and documentation using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other design software.
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections under supervision to monitor project progress and compliance.
  • Assist in performing quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and preparing technical reports.
  • Participate in soil testing, surveying, and materials testing as needed.
  • Work with senior engineers to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Document meeting notes, maintain project files, and help manage project timelines.
  • Support in collecting and analyzing data for project decision-making and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative on assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or project experience in a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software such as SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Revit, or GIS tools.
  • Basic understanding of structural analysis, hydraulics, or transportation engineering.
