Role Overview

Blue Cloud is seeking a motivated Network Performance Engineer with a strong foundation in networking and hands-on experience in Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) solutions. The engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining NPM environments using leading tools and industry platforms, ensuring high availability, reliability, and optimized performance for our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage NPM solutions across client environments.

Monitor and analyze network traffic, application performance, and user experience to proactively identify issues.

Customize dashboards, alerts, and reports for real-time visibility and proactive monitoring to meet project requirements.

Collaborate with client IT/Network teams to design and implement effective monitoring strategies.

Show proficiency in troubleshooting skills, perform root-cause analysis of issues and recommend solutions to have proactive dashboards and alerting.

Ensure monitoring environments are secure, compliant, and up to date with patches/upgrades.

Document processes, best practices, and configurations for ongoing support.

Assist in integrating NPM solutions into larger observability and reliability frameworks.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–5 years of experience in networking and/or performance monitoring.

Strong understanding of network fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs.

Hands-on experience with NPM tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar).

Knowledge of Riverbed is a plus.

Familiarity with SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, and Syslog monitoring techniques.

CCNA certification (preferred) or equivalent networking knowledge.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Ready to work on-site at client locations to meet project requirement.
