Role Overview

Were hiring Finance Operations Interns who will be trained on Odoo ERP (Finance Module) and work on real-world financial workflows. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong accounting foundation who want practical ERP experience and exposure to technology-driven finance operations.

Interns will learn how finance processes run inside a modern ERP — including accounting entries, reconciliation, vendor/customer flows, and internal financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Finance & Accounting Operations

  2. Assist with data entry, journal postings, and general ledger updates inside Odoo.

  3. Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows.
  4. Work on bank reconciliation, vendor/customer updates, and financial documentation.

  5. Maintain accuracy across transactions and assist in month-end processes.

  6. ERP (Odoo) Process Handling

  7. Navigate and update finance modules within Odoo ERP.

  8. Follow SOPs for finance workflows and ensure data consistency.
  9. Assist in mapping business workflows into ERP processes.

  10. Work with the team to troubleshoot basic ERP-related issues.

  11. Reporting & Analysis

  12. Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.

  13. Maintain internal spreadsheets and track financial operations.

  14. Support audit and compliance-related documentation as required.

  15. Cross-Functional Coordination

  16. Coordinate with internal teams for invoice updates, information checks, and workflow alignment.

  17. Communicate clearly regarding discrepancies or missing information.
  18. Support internal operations tied to finance activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (journal entries, ledgers, reconciliation).
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formatting).
  • Prior exposure to Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, QuickBooks, or any ERP/accounting platform is a strong plus.
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and comfortable with structured processes.
  • Ability to learn system workflows quickly and follow SOPs.
  • Stable, committed, and willing to go through a structured 3–6 month training program.
