Role & responsibilities

Managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards, and company policies.

  1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  2. Maintain general ledger and accounting entries.

  3. Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments).

  4. Reconcile bank statements and vendor/client accounts.

  5. Financial Reporting

  6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  7. Assist in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

  8. Support in budgeting and forecasting activities.

  9. Taxation & Compliance

  10. Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

  11. Maintain records for audits and assist with internal/external auditors.

  12. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  13. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  14. Track invoices, payments, and outstanding receivables.

  15. Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.

  16. Prepare aging reports and follow up on pending dues.

  17. Payroll Support

  18. Coordinate payroll inputs with HR.

  19. Maintain records of salary disbursements, deductions, and statutory compliance.

  20. Documentation & Recordkeeping

  21. Maintain financial documentation files (vouchers, receipts, bills).

  22. Ensure proper recordkeeping for audits and future reference.

Preferred candidate profile

Take responsibility for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards, and company policies.

Education:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.

Experience: 1 to 4 years

Software Skills:

  • Tally ERP, MS Excel, MS Office, or relevant accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
