Product Analyst

About the Role

Impact you will make

As a Product Analyst on FinThrive's Government Reimbursements team, you will play a hands-on role in supporting the design, testing, and enhancement of products that help clients manage Medicare, Medicaid, and other public reimbursement programs. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to analyze large data sets, validate logic, investigate edge cases, and ensure accuracy across complex financial workflows. Through deep research and structured testing, your work will directly contribute to delivering compliant, high-quality solutions that support timely and accurate reimbursement—reinforcing FinThrive's mission to eliminate friction in healthcare finance.

What you will do

• Collect, process, and clean data from primary and secondary sources.
• Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SME, marketing, sales, operations, product development etc.) to understand data needs.
• Present findings clearly to stakeholders with visualizations and summaries.
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Understand business use cases, translate them into analytical requirements, and design appropriate data models and scenarios.
• Develop understanding of the product and build cross entity analytics and identify gaps.

What you will bring

• Proven experience (3-5+ years) as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Strong ability to understand business goals and translate them into data use cases
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Healthcare background is a must
