Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead, execute, and optimize all facets of our digital marketing initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in digital channels, data analytics, customer behavior, content creation, SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and brand storytelling. The ideal candidate will be both creative and analytical, capable of managing campaigns from conception through execution, measurement, and iteration, while aligning digital efforts with business goals.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving lead generation, improving conversion rates, and enhancing customer engagement across platforms, while leading a team of specialists and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Define digital KPIs, goals, and budgets in consultation with leadership.
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketers, designers, content creators, and external agencies.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic campaigns.
- Identify emerging digital trends and technologies to ensure the organization stays at the forefront.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Plan and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Optimize website structure, metadata, content, and links for search visibility.
- Work with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.
- Monitor and report on search performance and adjust tactics accordingly.
Paid Advertising (PPC, Paid Social, Display Ads)
- Plan, implement, and manage paid campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube, and programmatic networks.
- A/B test ad creatives, copy, targeting, and landing pages.
- Set up conversion tracking, attribution models, and budget optimization strategies.
- Ensure campaigns meet ROI targets and refine strategies based on performance.
Content Strategy & Creation
- Lead content development across blogs, whitepapers, videos, webinars, infographics, and case studies.
- Ensure alignment between content marketing, SEO, and paid efforts.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather subject matter expertise.
- Develop content calendars, timelines, and distribution plans.
Email Marketing & Automation
- Plan and execute automated drip campaigns, newsletters, and triggered workflows.
- Segment audiences based on behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage.
- Improve open rates, click-through rates, and lead nurturing flows.
- Integrate CRM platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo for seamless marketing automation.
Social Media Marketing
- Define brand voice, tone, and messaging across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Develop social media campaigns to engage followers, build communities, and increase brand advocacy.
- Collaborate with influencers and partners to amplify reach.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and online feedback.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build dashboards to track campaign performance, traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics.
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Hotjar, and Tableau for deep data analysis.
- Present insights to stakeholders and make data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct customer segmentation and behavior analysis to tailor messaging.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Identify drop-off points in user journeys and implement optimization strategies.
- Conduct heatmaps, A/B tests, and user surveys.
- Collaborate with product teams to enhance user experience on landing pages and apps.
Customer Journey Mapping & User Experience
- Develop detailed customer personas and map their digital touchpoints.
- Work with UX designers and product managers to ensure seamless digital experiences.
- Analyze feedback loops and refine digital messaging.
Brand Management
- Ensure all digital campaigns reflect the brand's mission, values, and aesthetics.
- Maintain consistency across all digital platforms, from visuals to messaging.
- Oversee brand reputation management and online PR.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with sales, product, creative, and customer success teams to create unified messaging.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
- Lead cross-departmental brainstorming sessions and planning meetings.
Budget & Resource Management
- Allocate budgets efficiently across channels.
- Forecast campaign performance and optimize for cost-effective outcomes.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and platforms.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all campaigns comply with data privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Oversee digital content governance and intellectual property protection.
Required Qualifications:Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint) preferred.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in digital marketing roles, preferably with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of designing, executing, and optimizing multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience with lead generation, conversion optimization, and customer retention.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush), and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS tools like WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with A/B testing tools like Optimizely or VWO.
