Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Collections Manager located in Kolkata. The Collections Manager will be responsible for overseeing the collections process, managing and guiding a team of collection agents, developing strategies to improve the collection of outstanding credit, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The role includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, resolving escalated issues, and collaborating with other departments to optimize the recovery process.

Qualifications

  • Experience in collections management, credit risk, and outstanding debt recovery
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills and proficiency with data and reporting
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Ability to work on-site in Kolkata
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
