Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Engineer

Location:
India (On-site)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Informatica IDQ and CDQ mappings, rulebases, and reusable transformation components to enforce enterprise data quality standards.
  • Perform end-to-end data profiling and root-cause analysis to identify data quality gaps and translate findings into automated cleansing and matching rules.
  • Integrate IDQ/CDQ workflows with Informatica PowerCenter ETL jobs and downstream data pipelines; develop error-handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Implement scalable data quality frameworks for deduplication, address standardization, validation, and survivorship; tune jobs for optimal runtime and throughput.
  • Support production deployments and incident resolution, including creating runbooks, monitoring MQ/agent processes, and coordinating hotfixes with on-call teams.
  • Collaborate with data architects, BI/ETL teams, and business stakeholders to define data quality rules, acceptance criteria, and measurable KPIs.

  • Informatica MDM
  • Data governance frameworks (DQ rules, metadata management)
  • Knowledge of Hadoop/Spark or cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Qualifications: 3–7 years of hands-on experience implementing Informatica IDQ/CDQ and PowerCenter in production environments; proven track record in on-site delivery models.
  • Working model: On-site in India — candidates must be willing to work from client locations and participate in shift/production support rotations when required.
