Content Writer/Strategist

The Content Writer/Strategist is responsible for creating engaging, high-quality content across platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, and LinkedIn, to help brands connect with their target audience, establish authority, and enhance engagement. This role also involves mentoring interns, ensuring SEO optimization, collaborating with social media managers, and driving content strategies that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Strategy
- Write impactful, SEO-optimized content for blogs, websites, and LinkedIn articles tailored to the audience and platform.
- Craft engaging social media captions and content aligned with campaign goals.
- Adapt tone, style, and messaging for platform-specific requirements while maintaining brand consistency.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Managers (SMM) and web teams to develop cohesive content strategies, ensuring alignment across all platforms.
- Plan and contribute to content calendars to maintain consistency and timeliness.
Blog and Website Content
- Develop well-researched and high-quality blog posts, website copy, and technical content.
- Optimize all content for SEO, implementing keyword strategies, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
- Review website and blog content to ensure it adheres to SEO best practices, aligns with the target audience, and enhances search engine visibility.
- Ensure every content piece is completed within 5 hours. If challenges arise, coordinate with the SPOC for process adjustments.
Social Media Integration
- Assist in aligning blog and website content with social media campaigns to boost organic reach.
- Adapt content for social media platforms, ensuring it is engaging and optimized for platform algorithms.
- Monitor content performance across social media platforms and adjust strategies for better engagement.
Mentorship and Collaboration
- Mentor and guide content writing interns by providing constructive feedback, editing their work, and sharing best practices.
- Ensure interns' work meets quality and SEO standards while fostering their growth through goal-setting and skill development.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure visuals complement content themes.
Editing, Proofreading, and Quality Assurance
- Edit and proofread all content for grammar, style, and brand consistency.
- Conduct regular content audits to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with SEO strategies.
- Ensure the content adheres to the brand voice and is tailored to each platform's unique requirements.
Research and Ideation
- Conduct thorough research to create accurate, valuable, and trend-aligned content.
- Develop content ideas based on industry trends, analytics insights, and audience preferences.
- Incorporate trending topics and industry insights to enhance relevance and engagement.
Performance Tracking and Continuous Improvement
- Analyze content performance across platforms, using insights to refine strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, SEO best practices, and platform algorithm changes.
- Experiment with content styles and formats to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Time Management and Process Efficiency
- Prioritize tasks effectively, balancing content creation, intern mentorship, SEO optimization, and collaboration.
- Communicate promptly with clients or team leads when encountering roadblocks to maintain process efficiency.
Key Deliverables

- Engaging and impactful social media captions and posts.
- Clear content calendars and cohesive strategies aligned with business goals.
