Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage spare parts operations within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure timely availability and delivery of spare parts to dealers, distributors, service centers, and mechanics.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams for effective inventory planning and management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, mechanics, and service partners to strengthen the network.
  • Analyze parts consumption trends and forecast future requirements to meet demand.
  • Support sales and service teams in resolving spare partsrelated concerns.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits, audits, and training programs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs such as fill rate, lead time, and parts turnover ratio.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, processes, and standards.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 8 to 12 years of experience in aftermarket sales (preferably in the automotive/industrial domain).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, supply chain coordination, and dealer/distributor network management.
  • Proven ability to analyze consumption trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead branch operations independently with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory for dealer visits and audits.
