Job Description: Project manager for Electricals Construction site High rise ( building ) Residential tower electrical projects. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Incharge for Electricals to join our High rise ( building) Residential Construction firm. As the Project Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the electrical aspects of construction projects, ensuring that electrical systems are installed, maintained, and functioning efficiently. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, supervising electrical teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Responsibilities: Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop detailed electrical plans, including electrical layouts, equipment specifications, and project timelines , complete project billing , Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of electricians and electrical contractors, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols, work efficiently, and deliver high-quality results. Electrical System Installation: Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, building codes, and safety standards. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that electrical installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effective electrical operations within the project. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with other project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth coordination, resolve any issues, and provide regular project updates. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve electrical issues during construction, and oversee the maintenance of electrical systems to ensure long-term functionality and reliability. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards, and promote a culture of safety among team members. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including electrical plans, permits, inspection reports, and change orders. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and licenses are advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, power distribution, control systems, and relevant codes and regulations. Familiarity with building automation systems is a plus. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to lead and motivate a team of electricians and contractors, ensuring efficient and effective project execution. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues during construction, while making sound decisions under pressure. Communication: Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders, provide project updates, and address any concerns or issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in electrical plans, specifications, and compliance with codes and regulations. Safety Consciousness: Deep understanding of electrical safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using electrical design software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
