Project Manager

8848 Digital LLP provides clients with high quality ERPNext implementations, application customizations, management consulting and a variety of technical infrastructure services. 8848 Digital provides enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to mid-market companies around the world including custom solutions on web and mobile.

The Project Manager at 8848 Digital is responsible for leading and overseeing technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients. In addition to project management responsibilities, this role requires the ability to build and nurture client relationships effectively.

Role & Responsibilities :

  • Assisting in establishing a Project Management Office to oversee multiple projects.
  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.
  • Implementing document control policies and documentation templates.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of assigned component projects.
  • Evaluating standards of component products.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
  • Ensuring the project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in technical project management/IT Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Jira Tool.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Any IT /Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum) a plus.
  • Previous experience in client relationship management or account management is desirable.
