Urgently required IT head for a reputed retail jewelry brand in Maharashtra.

Experience: Extensive experience years) in IT, preferably with leadership experience in the jewellery

Education: Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Package: Up to 30 LPA

Location: Koregaon Park, Pune

Requisites (Core competencies / Skills):

Experience: Proven experience in a senior IT management or director role, with a strong background in the
retail, luxury goods sectors. Experience with jewelry manufacturing and retail is highly desirable.

Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, security, ERP systems, and cloud environments. Familiarity with the unique technology requirements of the jewelry industry is essential.

Leadership and soft skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage a team, handle budgets, and collaborate effectively with both technical and no technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Strategy and planning:

Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports business growth, innovation, and operational

efficiency across manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce channels.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology needs and opportunities for competitive
advantage.
Manage and report on the overall IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology.

Infrastructure and operations management:

Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's entire technology infrastructure,

including networks, servers, databases, and cloud services.
Ensure the smooth operation of specialized systems critical to the jewelry industry, such as:

ERP solutions: For seamless integration of manufacturing, inventory management, retail sales, and
supply chain logistics.

Jewelry CAD/CAM systems: Supporting the design and production process.

E-commerce platforms: To facilitate online sales and manage digital storefronts.

Retail point-of-sale (POS) systems: Used in luxury retail boutiques for sales, inventory tracking, and customer service.
Implement and manage a robust disaster recovery and business continuity plan.

Cybersecurity and data management:
Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies to protect sensitive company data, including customer information, proprietary designs, and financial records.

Oversee data governance and cybersecurity protocols to comply with data privacy regulations and
industry standards.
Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.

Digital innovation and projects:
Lead major IT projects, including system updates, migrations, and the adoption of new technologies like augmented reality (AR) for virtual product try-ons.
Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for enhancing customer experience, production efficiency, and supply chain management.
Oversee the integration of different technology platforms to ensure a cohesive and seamless
operational flow.

Team and vendor management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, providing guidance and fostering a culture of
continuous learning.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units, providing technical guidance to
support their needs.
