Job Description

Job Designation Manager/Senior Manager Project planning & Cost control Brief Role : Thorough experience in Project Planning, Monitoring & Review and Cost Control of large full scale EPC Power Projects mainly financial and cost side (Engineering background);Monitor and update project cost incurred / committed and estimation of future cost ;Ensure that expected cost of completion is within the target cost and margin is protected through periodic review of expected cost of completion ;To allocate project cost in designated WBS; To prepare WBS-wise Cost Report (Budget v/s Expected) for identifying the areas of Cost Over run and Savings which would be useful for Cost Estimations for new projects.;To prepare annual Project Budget and calculate key financial parameters of Sales, Margin, Invoicing, Collection, Customer Outstanding, Net Working Capital etc; To monitor progress against committed financial parameters and take proactive actions to ensure that quarterly estimates are met; To report month-wise progress of key financial parameters to Top Management for review - and intervention; To co-ordinate with package area managers, invoicing team, site team, procurement group, etc. where ever required in order to ensure healthy financial progress against commitment to top management; Preparation of Billing Break Up for the Supplies & Services Contracts and approval of same from client with needful amendments; on Making & Problem Solving approach; Good knowledge of Oracle EBS is preferred.
