Job Summary: The HR Associate provides support in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This role is instrumental in ensuring a smooth HR operation and enhancing employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist in job posting and advertising vacancies.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of all necessary documentation.
  1. Employee Records and Administration:
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Process HR documents such as employment records, terminations, and other HR-related paperwork.
  • Manage HR databases and generate reports as needed.
  1. Benefits and Compensation:
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
  • Help administer employee compensation programs and maintain records.
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Address employee queries and provide support on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts, escalating to senior HR staff as necessary.
  1. Compliance and Policies:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Help update and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to HR policies.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Assist with employee development programs and initiatives.
  1. Administrative Support:
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Prepare HR correspondence and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role is desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
