Key Responsibilities:

Project/Program Management
:

• Lead and manage the delivery of projects from initiation through to completion using Agile Scrum methodologies
• Oversee backlog health, velocity, and delivery commitments across distributed teams
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations and budgets
• Able to manage both time and material and fixed price milestone-based projects
• Ensure that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards

Team Coordination
:

• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, design, QA, and business teams)
• Ensure resources are allocated effectively, utilised maximum and resolve any resource conflicts
• Provide guidance and support to the team to achieve project goals

Stakeholder Management
:

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership
• Regularly communicate project status, dependencies, risks, issues, and budget consumption status to stakeholders
• Gather and manage feedback from clients to ensure expectations are met

Risk and Issue Management
:

• Identify, assess, and manage risks or issues that may impact project delivery
• Proactively address challenges and implement solutions to minimize disruptions

Quality Assurance
:

• Ensure that the product or service delivered aligns with customer requirements and quality standards
• Implement and monitor quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ownership of product or service quality metrics and corresponding KPIs
• Understanding of code quality

Continuous Improvement
:

• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tools, and techniques
• Conduct retrospectives to review project outcomes and implement improvements in future deliveries

Budget and Resource Management
:

• Ensure the project stays within budget and monitor expenditure
• Manage resource allocations and other expenditure to control costs and maximize margin
• Business mining and forecast future revenue plans from the projects
• Oversee resource planning and allocation to avoid delays or resource shortages

Key Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven experience in managing complex projects or services
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project)
• Payments domain experience is a plus
