Position: Product Manager – Medical Research and Medical Education
Location: Gurgaon
Role Overview:
The Product Manager will play a critical role in developing, executing, and scaling our medical research (Journals, R&P, Journal collections, research databases) and medical education products (digital med ed solutions) in Digital domain. This individual will be responsible for creating GTM for B2B and B2B2C strategies (using channel approach), owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the medical research and medical education publishing domain, a proven track record of product marketing, and a strong ability to navigate and excel in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will bridge the gap between market research and strategic execution. Your role will involve conducting in-depth market analysis, developing compelling product messaging, and coordinating with various teams to ensure successful product launches. You will make significant contributions to the overall product marketing strategy, leveraging your skills to enhance our market presence and drive customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive Go To Market plans for both Medical Research and Education for both B2B and B2B2C segments, aligned with the company's goals and market trends.
- Conduct detailed market research and customer analysis and competitive insights from the industry.
- Create and refine product messaging and positioning.
- Monitor and analyze competitive landscape.
- Track and report on key marketing metrics and KPIs.
- Partner with product development to incorporate customer needs.
- Create marketing collateral and assets.
- Coordinate product launch activities across departments.
- Analyze pricing strategies and suggest adjustments.
- Evaluate and respond to market changes and trends
- Collaborate closely with sales and market research teams to understand market demands and gather customer feedback for refining product offerings.
- Develop and execute B2B and B2B2C sales strategies, ensuring maximum market penetration and revenue generation.
- Engage with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and foster strong relationships.

P&L Ownership:
- Assume ownership of the product's profit and loss (P&L) performance.
- Monitor financial metrics and make strategic decisions to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Market Intelligence and Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the medical research and education space.
- Utilize market intelligence to identify gaps, new opportunities, and potential areas for innovation
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify market trends, needs, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in product marketing with a strong focus on digital medical research and education products
- Experience owning a product's P&L and successfully driving revenue growth.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the medical education and Ed Tech space.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, start up environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in publishing environment, especially medical publishers and in medical research is a must.
- Relevant certifications in product management or related fields.
