Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance & Control

  2. Conduct in-process, final product, and incoming material inspections as per standards.

  3. Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with quality parameters.

  4. Ensure proper implementation of quality control plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  5. Testing & Inspection

  6. Perform functional testing of electronic components and finished products.

  7. Use quality tools and equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, gauges, etc.) for inspection.

  8. Document inspection findings and prepare reports.

  9. Compliance & Standards

  10. Ensure adherence to ISO standards, industry-specific certifications, and customer requirements.

  11. Support audits (internal, customer, and third-party).

  12. Maintain calibration of measuring and testing instruments.

  13. Problem Identification & Resolution

  14. Identify non-conformities, defects, and deviations.

  15. Coordinate with production and engineering teams for root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

  16. Support continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.

  17. Documentation & Reporting

  18. Maintain quality records, inspection checklists, and test reports.

  19. Prepare monthly/weekly quality performance reports.

  20. Assist in preparation and review of quality manuals and SOPs.

  21. Customer Focus

  22. Handle customer complaints related to quality issues.

  23. Support customer quality requirements and ensure corrective actions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools and test equipment.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.).
  • Good documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors/Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in an electronics/EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) company.
  • Freshers with strong knowledge of electronics and quality concepts may also be considered.Role & responsibilities
