The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting products and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that finished products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products for defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Perform routine and non-routine tests and inspections using measuring tools and equipment.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste; input data into quality database.
  • Communicate quality issues to the production team and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all products meet required quality standards before shipment or final processing.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and support implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Assist in calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
  • Follow safety and quality assurance procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Fabrication, Production) to improve product quality.
