The IT Manager oversees all technology operations for a hotel or a chain of hotels, ensuring systems (e.g., property management systems, POS, networking, guest Wi-Fi, telephony, and security systems) run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. They serve as a bridge between hotel operations and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Management:
  • Maintain and upgrade hotel management systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Oracle Hospitality, etc.).
  • Support front desk, reservations, housekeeping, and F&B tech platforms.
  • Network & Infrastructure:
  • Oversee LAN/WAN, guest Wi-Fi, IP phones, and CCTV systems.
  • Ensure uninterrupted internet and secure data transmissions.
  • Cybersecurity & Data Privacy:
  • Implement security protocols and ensure GDPR/compliance.
  • Protect guest and employee data from cyber threats.
  • Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide daily tech support to staff and guests.
  • Manage ticketing system for IT issues across properties.
  • Vendor & Project Management:
  • Coordinate with IT vendors for software, hardware, or telecom needs.
  • Lead technology upgrades, hotel openings, or system migrations.
  • Training & Documentation:
  • Train hotel staff on new systems or upgrades.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of IT experience, ideally in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of:
  • Hotel systems (Opera PMS, MICROS, POS, etc.)
  • Networking (Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti)
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365
  • VoIP systems, CCTV, and access control
  • Strong communication, project management, and troubleshooting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
