We are now looking for a Corporate Lawyer with strong Intellectual Property (IP-first) expertise to safeguard GoBoults innovation, brand, and business interests as we scale our global footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Strategy & Corporate Governance:

• Lead and oversee all corporate legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and strategic partnerships.

• Advise leadership on legal implications of business decisions, new product categories, and market expansions.

• Ensure statutory compliance across entities, filings, and board-level governance requirements.

Intellectual Property (IP) Management:

• Drive end-to-end IP strategy from trademarks, patents, and copyrights to design registrations.

• Manage IP filings, oppositions, renewals, and enforcement in India and international jurisdictions.

• Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to ensure proactive IP protection for new launches and innovations.

• Partner with external counsels and agencies on IP litigation, brand defense, and counterfeit mitigation.

Risk Management & Dispute Resolution:

• Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation frameworks across business units.

• Handle pre-litigation matters, settlements, and manage external counsel for ongoing disputes.

• Advise on data privacy, consumer law, advertising standards, and digital compliance relevant to D2C and online commerce.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with business, finance, supply chain, and marketing teams to support contracts, compliance, and negotiations.

• Align with product and brand teams to embed IP thinking into innovation cycles.

• Work with senior leadership to ensure GoBoults reputation and brand equity are legally protected and strategically leveraged.

Who You Are:

• 48 years of experience in corporate law with a strong focus on intellectual property.

• Proven track record managing trademarks, patents, or IP enforcement in fast-moving consumer brands or tech companies.

• Strong understanding of IP Law, consumer law, and contract management.

• Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and ability to balance legal rigor with business agility.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable working in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications:

• Education: LL.B. or equivalent degree from a Tier-1 law school (NLUs, DU, Symbiosis, Jindal, etc.). LL.M. in IP Law is a plus.

• Experience: 4-8 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in consumer tech, FMCG, or D2C sectors.

• Preferred Background: Experience with IP portfolios, litigation, or global trademark management.
