Job Summary:
We seek a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our Sales and Business Development team. This internship offers hands-on experience in client acquisition, market research, and sales strategy implementation. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has strong communication skills, and is keen on business development.
Key Learnings:
1. Market Research:
Conduct research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends.
2. Lead Generation:
Support in generating leads through various channels, such as online research, social media, networking events, and referrals.
3. Client Outreach:
Support the team in contacting potential clients via email, phone calls, and social media to introduce our products/services and set up meetings.
4. Sales Support:
Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and other documents for client meetings.
5. Data Management:
Maintain and update the client database with accurate and relevant information.
6. Reporting:
Track and report on the progress of client acquisition efforts, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
7. Collaboration:
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align client acquisition strategies and campaigns.
8. Administrative Tasks:
Perform various administrative tasks to support the Client Acquisition team as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management.
Prior Sales experience will be an add-on.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM software and social media platforms is a plus.
