Position : Finance specialist
Finance & Management Accounting
- Preparation of vendor payment files for approval by senior management, itemizing all expenditure and segregating total costs to account for TDS (India). You should have a working knowledge of relevant TDS rates by service supply category.
- Accurately recording all Income and Expenditure transactions in the company's books of accounts.
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers and managing the general ledger.
- Managing all processes relating to making supplier payments, up to and including the banking transaction.
- Preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet reports on a monthly basis or more frequently as directed by management.
- Assisting with the maintenance of cost allocation models that accurately attribute direct and indirect costs to the company's products.
- Assisting with the preparation of inter-company invoices detailing the nature and value of the services supplied by the India business to its related group companies.
- Reconciling the company bank statements in accordance with company procedures set my management and raising discrepancies or observations as necessary.
- Desirable: Preparation of Softex form / filing Softex in the STPI. Liaising with bankers towards realisation of filed Sofex and EBRC generation
Statutory Accounting and Compliance
- Assisting with verification of the books of accounts including checking the balances of all ledgers.
- Work with our internal audit function to review all observations and queries raised and assisting with replies and resolution.
- Assisting with GST returns, GST Refund, TDS Q-ETDS Returns, Provident Fund (PF) and Professional Tax (PT) calculations and quarterly TDS data submissions.
Commercial Management & Administration
- Assisting with the management and administration of a wide range of corporate insurance cover. Duties will include obtaining quotes for cover, maintaining policy compliance, claims management and related activities.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of visa applications as required to facilitate international travel.
- Other commercial and administrative duties will arise from time to time and candidates will need to accommodate these as part of their everyday activities.
