Join Kovai.co – where passion meets purpose.Position : Finance specialistFinance & Management AccountingPreparation of vendor payment files for approval by senior management, itemizing all expenditure and segregating total costs to account for TDS (India). You should have a working knowledge of relevant TDS rates by service supply category.Accurately recording all Income and Expenditure transactions in the company’s books of accounts.Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers and managing the general ledger.Managing all processes relating to making supplier payments, up to and including the banking transaction.Preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet reports on a monthly basis or more frequently as directed by management.Assisting with the maintenance of cost allocation models that accurately attribute direct and indirect costs to the company’s products.Assisting with the preparation of inter-company invoices detailing the nature and value of the services supplied by the India business to its related group companies.Reconciling the company bank statements in accordance with company procedures set my management and raising discrepancies or observations as necessary.Desirable: Preparation of Softex form / filing Softex in the STPI. Liaising with bankers towards realisation of filed Sofex and EBRC generationStatutory Accounting and ComplianceAssisting with verification of the books of accounts including checking the balances of all ledgers.Work with our internal audit function to review all observations and queries raised and assisting with replies and resolution.Assisting with GST returns, GST Refund, TDS Q-ETDS Returns, Provident Fund (PF) and Professional Tax (PT) calculations and quarterly TDS data submissions.Commercial Management & AdministrationAssisting with the management and administration of a wide range of corporate insurance cover.
