
Engineering Project Manager Adaptive Implementation

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Engineering Project Manager with proven experience in leading Adaptive Planning implementations. This role will be instrumental in driving cross-functional engineering initiatives, optimizing planning processes, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic Engineering projects.
ROLE SUMMARY:
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Adaptive Planning solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the People Function, Finance, Procurement and Engineering to deliver scalable, efficient planning capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of Adaptive Planning through structured change management and stakeholder engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Manage full lifecycle the LSEG Adaptive Planning implementation, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-deployment support.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support defining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Co-create and facilitate workshops and design sessions in partnership with stakeholders and external vendors to align planning models with evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependenciesensuring swift resolution and timely escalation to maintain project momentum. Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration by partnering with key stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions, such as integrated data feeds, robust security models, and shared service frameworks
• Establish data-driven KPIs to evaluate project success, drive continuous improvement, and inform executive reporting.
• Champion best practices in Agile project governance, delivery, and change management, fostering iterative development, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support training, testing, and user adoption activities to ensure successful rollout and sustainability.
• Provide hands-on leadership during the hyper care phase of an enterprise technology deployment. Act as the primary point of contact for issue triage, escalation, and resolution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven experience managing Adaptive Planning (Workday) or similar EPM tool implementations.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional and enterprise-wide projects.
• Demonstrated experience working with implementation partners, with the ability to critically assess deliverables, provide constructive feedback, and foster effective collaboration to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in developing and evaluating workforce and cost estimates to support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation decisions.
• Workday ecosystem experience (e.g., HCM, Financials).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with workforce planning, headcount budgeting, and HR forecasting processes.

• Agile or hybrid project delivery experience.
• Change management or training experience.
