  • Research current fashion trends, fabrics, and color palettes to design innovative collections.
  • Create sketches, illustrations, and digital designs for new garments and accessories.
  • Develop mood boards, themes, and concepts for each collection.
  • Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments in collaboration with the sourcing team.
  • Oversee the sample-making process and work closely with tailor
  • Conduct fittings and make necessary design adjustments for quality and fit.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure designs align with brand strategy and customer preferences.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors and industry developments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of designs and samples for production schedules and fashion events.
  • Manage and organize design archives and technical specifications for each piece.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong illustration, sketching, and technical drawing skills (manual or digital).
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles.
  • Creative flair with a strong sense of color, proportion, and detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
