We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Back Office Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and managing administrative functions that ensure efficient workflows, maintain data accuracy, guarantee compliance with company policies, including statutory tax filings, and handle communication between departments. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless operations that align with the organization's core business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the back office, including managing records, preparing reports, and handling communication between departments.
  • Workflow Management: Organize and streamline office processes, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on time, improving overall workflow within the back office.
  • Data Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure all data entered into internal systems is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent, maintaining high levels of accuracy for reporting and decision-making.
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence: Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations, ensuring all operations are carried out in line with industry standards and organizational guidelines.
  • Statutory Compliance & Filings: Prepare, review, and file statutory returns, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, accurately and on time, in compliance with relevant government regulations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments to support operational requirements, share relevant information, and facilitate smooth execution of business processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within back-office operations and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain organized records and files, both physical and electronic, ensuring proper documentation for internal use and audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative functions or back-office operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing and filing statutory tax returns, specifically Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Familiarity with back-office software and databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and departments.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and best practices in back-office operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) or equivalent office software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management tools or software.
  • Previous experience in a related industry or role.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations.
