Automation QA Engineer

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to 18 LPA

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

About the Role

We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in testing automation and prior exposure to the Security Services domain. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of ensuring the highest quality standards in software delivery. Over time, this role will also evolve to include Business Analyst (BA) responsibilities, offering the candidate a growth path to expand into client-facing, requirements-gathering, and solution-shaping activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in Automation Testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working in the Security Services domain (IAM, threat detection, data protection, vulnerability management, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and validate features.
  • Ensure test coverage and traceability against business and technical requirements.
  • Identify, log, and track defects through their lifecycle, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Contribute to building a robust CI/CD test automation framework.
  • Leverage knowledge of the Security Services domain to ensure compliance and security validation within test cases.

  • Gradually transition into BA responsibilities, including:

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements.

  • Translating business needs into functional specifications and testable requirements.
  • Acting as a liaison between technical and business teams.
