We are seeking young and driven professionals with tea garden operation experience for field training and implementation of trustea program in tea estates, factories and small tea growers. The role involves working closely with tea garden and factory management and stakeholders to implement trustea code for sustainable tea, in order to promote sustainable solutions in line with the trustea code requirements towards enhancing the sustainability of the tea supply chain in India.

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø System implementation training:

Training on requirements and implementation of the sustainability system. Organize and deliver training sessions for tea garden workers, operations personnel and small tea growers in sustainability practices, legal compliance, climate adaptation, and responsible resource management.

• Ø Improve value:

Identify and promote best practices in sustainable agriculture, water conservation, waste management, and biodiversity conservation within tea producers

• Ø Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the organization.

• Ø Capacity Building:

Develop user-friendly materials, toolkits, and guidelines to support programme implementation and provide feedback on training improvement

• Ø Monitoring and Evaluation:

Focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) of the training program and monitor the impact. Conduct regular site visits and assessments, to ensure ongoing compliance

Prepare progress reports and recommend improvements to enhance programme outcomes.

• Ø System ethics and integrity:

Focus on ethics and integrity of the process to ensure the core values of trustea program.

• QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Essential:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science or related fields.

· yrs experience in tea gardens and/or with small tea growers.

· Proficiency with MS office

· Fluency in local language(s) of the tea growing regions as well as English.

• Desirable:

· Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices, sustainability standards, and certification processes.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

· Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in complex environments.
