Job Title: MIS Executive Department:
Management Information Systems / Operations / Administration Reports To: Manager – MIS / Operations Head / HR Manager
Job Purpose:
To collect, analyze, and present data that supports management decision-making, process improvement, and operational efficiency through accurate and timely reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, maintain, and update daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Collect and consolidate data from different departments and ensure data accuracy.
- Generate analytical and performance reports for management review.
- Automate reports and dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools (Power BI / Tableau, etc.).
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
- Maintain databases and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support management in decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Identify reporting errors or inconsistencies and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and verification.
- Assist in preparing presentations, charts, and business summaries.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Google Sheets, or SQL (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in MIS or data analysis role (Freshers with strong Excel skills may also apply).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Accuracy of data and reports.
- Timeliness of report submissions.
- Number of automated reports/processes implemented.
- Management feedback on data quality and insights.
