Role & responsibilities

  • Thoroughly study and analyze tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Prepare accurate costing and estimates as per scope, tender specifications, and standard practices.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost comparisons.
  • Prepare technical and commercial submissions in line with tender deadlines.
  • Develop tender presentations including project schedules, construction methodology, formwork requirements, labour histograms, and machinery deployment plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and site teams to gather required inputs.
  • Evaluate risks, assumptions, and exclusions related to the tender scope.
  • Track market rates, vendor quotations, and industry cost trends.
  • Ensure compliance with tender requirements and propose value engineering options where applicable.
  • Support negotiations and clarifications with clients or consultants during the tendering stage.
  • Maintain tender documentation, records, and MIS reports.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of estimation, costing, and tendering processes in EPC/Construction projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD and estimation tools.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and technical understanding.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
  • Strong coordination and team collaboration abilities.
