Transport Lead oversees and manage transportation-related operations

Main responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute transportation strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Optimize routes, manage vehicle fleets, and ensure timely deliveries.

Team Management: Lead and supervise transportation teams, including drivers, dispatchers, and logistics staff. o Set performance targets, provide training, and foster teamwork.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Create and manage transportation budgets.

Monitor expenses, fuel costs, and maintenance expenditures.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations o Implement safety protocols and preventive maintenance procedures.

Client Relations: Collaborate with clients to understand their transportation needs.

Provide excellent customer service and address any issues promptly.

Route Optimization and Efficiency: Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency. o Optimize delivery routes and reduce transit times.

Vendor Management: Work with transportation vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate performance.

Maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Management.

Proficiency in transportation systems, logistics, and regulations.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
