Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Transport Manager, located in Pune. The Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day transportation operations, managing the fleet, coordinating logistics hubs, ensuring lean operational excellence, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Tasks include planning and optimizing routes, managing transportation budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading communication with drivers and clients.

Your role will revolve around guaranteeing that our fleet is consistently available and operational, with contingency measures always ready to address unexpected needs. You will act as the single point of contact for all transport-related matters at client sites, building close relationships with clients to understand their requirements and implementing efficient processes that create measurable value and cost savings.

In this position, you will also be responsible for coordinating vendor interactions, scheduling review meetings, and ensuring proper documentation of training sessions, performance records, and incident reports. A strong focus on compliance with internal audit and reporting procedures is essential.
