Account Executive

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial health and records of our service workshop. The ideal candidate will handle all accounting functions, from daily transaction entries to preparing monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with all regulations and supporting efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Keeping: Accurately record all daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (vendor invoices, payments) and accounts receivable (customer invoicing, collections), ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
• Cost & Inventory Management: Monitor and analyze costs related to labor, parts inventory, and overhead. Assist with physical inventory counts and ensure proper valuation.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis to management.
• Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and central tax regulations (e.g., GST filings) and assist with internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within a workshop, automotive, or similar service-based industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with different departments and meet tight deadlines.
• Integrity: High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹34,673.46 per month
