**General Responsibilities**:

Interact with department and resort staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communication
**Specific Responsibilities**:
Interview Line Associates
Liaison with recruitment agencies and hotel schools
Manage the on-line recruitment through the Resorts Web Site
Correct and timely placement of internal and external advertisements
Be able to understand and help the HR Manager to abide by all Government laws relating to the Associate division
Compiling payroll / Absence data.
Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this
Manage HR administration such as contracts, letters, and personnel files
Full usage of HR System including running of Payroll, Statutory, Change of Status Requests and other amendments as required that are for HRD Approval.
Assists the HR manager in Budget preparation where required and is fully aware of all Budgeted Positions and hiring approvals.
Ensure compliance with all HR legislation and keep up to date with changes to local authorities.
Ensures confidentiality is maintained at all times and provides information only to those with a need to know.
Collect and maintain daily, weekly or monthly attendance
Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software
Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback on reasons for turnover
Adherence to pre, during and post-employment checklists
Ensure Staff and Manager awareness of HR Policies and procedures
Administering recruitment, medical check-up and briefing new recruits on medical insurance scheme and fingerprinting
Obtaining a new ID number for new employees and training them on the use of the fingerprinting registration machine.

Liaise with the Talent Management team for completing the cycle of recruitment, induction, training & development
Coordinate with Talent management Team for the mandatory pieces of training such as First Aid Courses & Fire Fighting
Initiate programs that foster good work relations such as social club and consultative committees etc.
Provides input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelines
Coaches, counsels and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations
Handling staff benefit implementation process such as maternity allowance, optical, condolence allowance and deliver flower or fruit basket to hospitalized staff
Registering new employees and additional participants into the medical insurance scheme, including reimbursing medical expenses incurred by employees
Conducting training regarding medical facilities (insurance/house clinic) matter to create staff understanding
Organizing employees activities such as sport, birthdays, an employee of the month and others
Managing the employee's cafeteria together with the cafeteria committee monitoring the quality of food and cyclic menu, and conducting a monthly meeting with the committee
Updating employees rosters in the payroll system and prints out the record of fingerprint in order to provide attendance information to report to the Accounting Department
Conducting Reference Check for certain position
Issuing an Annual Leave Outstanding reported to Department Heads
Other task or duties as may be appropriately assigned by the HR Manager
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure Statutory Compliance through coordination with Branches, HR Ops team
i) Liasoning with required statutory authorities or as directed
ii) Responding to various Notices from Authorities ensuring closure on the gaps
- Analysis of trends in Compliance and device corresponding action plan
- Audit of PF and other vendors on Statutory Compliance.
