Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solidworks Design Engineer located in Kolkata. The Solidworks Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed designs using Solid Works software, ensuring mechanical and electrical integration, and supporting the product design lifecycle. Daily tasks include developing engineering drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the design and optimization of medical equipment. Continuous improvement and adherence to industry standards and regulations are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
- Skills in Solid works Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software and Product Design
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
- Experience with design software, preferably Solidworks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Previous experience in the medical equipment industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
