Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Career Development Cell (CDC). The Director will be responsible for driving strategic placement initiatives, strengthening industry partnerships, enhancing student employability, and leading a high-performing placement and training team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive placement and training strategy.

Design long-term plans for career development, internships, and global employability.

Set performance benchmarks and ensure continuous improvement in placement outcomes.

Industry Engagement & Partnerships

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, startups, and government bodies.

Drive MoUs and collaborations for internships, placements, live projects, and joint initiatives.

Represent the institution at industry events, forums, and job fairs.

Placement Operations

Manage end-to-end campus recruitment processes.

Plan and execute placement drives, internships, and pre-placement activities.

Track, analyze, and report placement data as per compliance standards.

Training & Student Development

Design and deliver modules in communication, soft skills, aptitude, and technical training.

Collaborate with academic teams to integrate employability skills into curricula.

Introduce mentorship programs, mock interviews, and skill-readiness assessments.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of placement and training professionals.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

Qualifications & Skills

Master's Degree (MBA / Education / related field preferred).

Minimum 15 years of experience in Training & Placement / Career Services / Corporate Relations.

Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role.

Strong corporate network with proven placement achievements.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning abilities.
