We are hiring for Qualified CA for our Finance & Taxation Department

Role - Officer - Finance & Taxation

Location - Pimpri, Pune

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting & MIS:

  2. Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.

  3. Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to provide actionable insights to management.

  4. Prepare schedules and documentation required for internal and external audits.

  5. Statutory & Legal Compliance:

  6. Ensure compliance with labour-related regulations, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Professional Tax (PT), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF).

  7. Manage GST compliance, including return filings, input tax credit reconciliation, and coordination with tax authorities.
  8. Monitor and ensure compliance for vendors, including capital vendors, by verifying contracts, agreements, and statutory requirements.

  9. Stay updated on changes in financial, tax, and labour laws to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

  10. Audit Support:

  11. Coordinate with auditors to provide necessary schedules, documents, and clarifications for statutory and tax audits.

  12. Ensure all financial records are accurate and audit-ready in compliance with applicable standards (e.g., Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act).

  13. Vendor & Capital Vendor Management:

  14. Verify vendor agreements for compliance with legal and financial requirements.

  15. Monitor payments to vendors and ensure adherence to tax deduction at source (TDS) and other statutory obligations.

  16. Support capital expenditure processes by ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and financial protocols.

  17. Process Improvement:

  18. Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency in compliance and reporting activities.

  19. Assist in implementing financial systems and tools to enhance accuracy and productivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
  • Experience: Fresher with strong academic performance; internship or article ship experience in finance, audit, or compliance is a plus.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST, TDS, and labour laws (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF).

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, or other accounting software.

  • Familiarity with MIS preparation and financial analysis.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with auditors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of legal and statutory regulations related to vendors and labour compliance.
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting to evolving regulatory frameworks.
  • Team player with a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism.
