About the Role

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented finance professional to take full ownership of the Finance & Accounting function at our clients location. While you will be employed on our client's payroll, you will operate from and directly manage finance operations for our client.

This is a high-responsibility role, ideal for a young Chartered Accountant or finance professional who is eager to step into a CFO-type mandate early in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of finance & accounting functions, including:
  • Preparation & finalization of financial statements
  • Statutory compliance (direct & indirect taxation, audits, ROC filings, RBI/NBFC compliance if applicable)
  • Budgeting, forecasting & financial planning
  • Fund management, cash flow monitoring & MIS reporting
  • Act as the single point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
  • Provide strategic financial insights to management for decision-making
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance frameworks
  • Drive automation and process improvement in finance operations

Candidate Profile

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 23 years of post-qualification experience
  • Exposure to end-to-end accounting, taxation, and compliance in a corporate/NBFC/startup environment
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation (direct & indirect), and financial controls
  • Ability to independently manage finance and accounting without supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and leadership teams
